TW-classic

As some of you know I'm setting up a comm, [livejournal.com profile] tw_classic for all things series one, two and pre series of Torchwood. More info here: http://the-silver-sun.livejournal.com/121333.html

The question is when, for the purposes of this comm, should be the cut off point for for what is classic Torchwood.

[Poll #1604398]

New material, books, audio books, and radio plays, if they are set before the decided cut off point, will be included.

I'll keep this poll open until Saturday when the comm goes live.

I'm off to work now so I' not going to be able to reply to people before this evening.

voted for up to the Deadline - it allows the whole "not a blip in time" sentiment to be used but doesn't touch on the travesty that was COE as that didn't portray any of the characters realsitically - although I would be in favour of allowing the canon characters of Alice and Steven, as well as Ianto's family to be used as those were valid scenarios and had been mentioned elsewhere, such as the Torchwood Archives book (Rhi and Alice were in there I think) ...
in my opinion, classic stories could involve these people, but should not go anywhere near fixits for what should never have been broken, if that makes sense :-)

good luck with the comm :-)

I'll second this.

I voted for Deadline, too
