It's not going to be totally apparent why I've AU'd it so it's the 9th Doctor in this - but it's more setting the 'verse up for what I hope I'll have time to write in it later. Which will have Ianto and the Doctor finding Jack (who never joined Torchwood) and the story behind the Doctor's leather jacket (a previous companion - Fitz from the 8th Doctor novels had one just like it - and Fitz was still with the 8th Doctor at the start of the Time War and even went to Gallifrey with him - so that will end up with some aspects of past 8/Fitz.
