A very moving look at what might have happened offscreen in the episode. I like the way it starts off with Ianto trying to save Jack, then Jack has to save Ianto from the effects of the fumes, they switch roles back and forth throughout, the balance shifting depending on which of them is most in need of support, either physival or emotional, at any given times. They're both more than a little broken, but they give of themselves willingly to help each other and interract as equals.

Tragic and hopeful by turns.
