I had wondered if this fic was a little too dark and if how I wrote Jack's reaction to what had happened was believable. I'm pleased to hear that you think I have done a good job of this, as this is something of a departure from what I normally write.

There will be more of this and I am currently working on a sequel to it, although it might be a while until it's ready to post.
