Thank you for reading. When I wrote this it was post Exit Wounds, and that was bad enough. I suppose the one thing that got me when I found it still unposted on my computer was the old soldier, and how that the next year he wouldn't see Jack there, and that maybe he'd be the only one left there who remembered.
