Distant in the fog

I cannot see beyond that horizon

So far, so unreal, I forget

Forgotten dreams, my memory betrays me.

Where did those lost hopes go?

Disconnected, not here

The face I see in the mirror.

The hand brushing my hair,

Are they mine?

Uncertain now, the world wavers

Through frosted glass my existence

Distorted visions so obscured now

I cannot see the way

through this fog of uncertainty.
