Drabble: A Light in the Darkness
Title: A Light in the Darkness
Rating: G
Characters: Jack, Tosh
Summary: The storm is over for now.
A/N Continuing with my drabble fic using
tw100 MD title prompts. I'm not using them in an MD context at all though.
1. A Whole New World http://the-silver-sun.livejournal.com/163134.html#cutid1
2. Sing it Out Loud http://the-silver-sun.livejournal.com/164044.html#cutid1
It's the dead of night as they cross the Plas. Guns drawn, their eyes darting and wary for what might be hiding in the shadows.
The temporal storm has ended, giving them a scant few hours to gather supplies and inspect the damage.
“This way,” Tosh says, hushed and urgent, checking a tracking device. “There’s another energy signature.”
They find it just off the Plas. A large, jagged shard of metal, its faintly glowing surface etched with glyphs.
“It’s still functional,” Tosh says taking another reading.
Opening a containment bag, Jack smiles grimly. “Time to find out what’s going on.”
