“Working late?” Ianto said handing Gwen a coffee.

“Not exactly. My mum's doing the family tree and got stuck, can't find some old divorce papers. Turns out my Great Great Gran had an affair with a soldier and Great Gran was the result.”

“Would have been quite a scandal.” Ianto looked at the computer. “Would you like a hand?”

A few minutes later Ianto was into the National Archives.

“That's it. Parry 1902.” Gwen pointed at the screen. “Scroll down. Wait... Oh bloody hell.”

They stared open mouthed at the screen.

Co-Respondent: Captain Jack Harkness.

Heee. Still doesn't beat the one where Jack is Gwen's birth mother though.

But still funny.

Figured he didn't know, but still us being in on it just adds to the ick factor and it didn't help that I wrote a Drabble where they were married.

Whoops! That's an eye-opener! Perhaps where Jack's from such things are not taboo, but I'm sure Gwen will be glad they never acted on their mutual attraction!

I can't help but wonder how many other descendents Jack has running around out there he might have... erm, crossed paths with?
