Meme nabbed from mrs-cj-harkness
Choose five series (no peeking before you choose them list them, and then answer the questions behind the cut.
1. Torchwood
2. Highlander

1. Which is your favourite series from your list? And why?
Currently it would have to be Torchwood. There are probably too many reason to list but honestly it just grabbed my imagination and became the first fandom that I ever wrote fic in.
2. If you were to pair two characters from 1 and 4, who would they be?
Jack and the Doctor - it's practically canon anyway ;)
3. What is one thing you'd like to change about 3's plotline?
I would never have swapped Ray Vecchio for Ray Kowalski.
4. If both main characters of 2 and 5 were falling off a cliff, which one would you save?
It would have to be Aaron Hotchner from Criminal Minds as Duncan Mcloud would survive the fall.
5. Which event was the most horrible for you in 1?
Either Tosh and Owen's deaths, or the scene at the end of Out of Time where Jack is trying to talk John Ellis out of suicide and then when he fails sits with him while he dies.
6. Which is your least favorite character of 2?
Probably not a popular choice, but it would have to be Ritchie Ryan. I just could never really seem to connect with the character.
7. If the antagonist of 3 were to rape the main character of 1, what would you do?
There's not exactly a single main antagonist in Due South, but Frank Zuko a pretty rotten guy, small time mob boss. It would probably be con man Jack from his pre-doctor days running up against the mob in Chicago. About the only thing to do would be set Fraser and Ray on Zuko, that is if Jack hadn't already taken creep out Countrycide style.
8. What song reminds you of 5?
I don't know.
9. Of 1, 3, and 5, which is the easiest to think about?
In terms of character motivation for writing fic probably Torchwood, timeline wise Due South (because Torchwood timeline is every where and Hotchner's and Morgan's back grounds in CM arnen't much better and they don't have the timey-whimeyness excuse)
10. Are the protagonists of 2 and 4 similar?
Duncan Mcloud and the Doctor, well they've both been alive for a long time and both try to help people often with it not going quite to plan, but personality wise they very different.
So with the meme done I'm going to log off and go get my train to Northumberland and the next five days without internet at the in-laws.
