Pleased you like it, its been an interesting story to write.
Although the posting dates are all after series 2 here on LJ I started writing and posting it on fanfiction.net back before series 2 was shown in the Dec of 07. The basic outline has remained the same as originally planned, despite what has happened in canon since.
Grell's role and Devor society in general have had rather more written about them that I'd perhaps thought I'd write at the beginning, but where Jack and Ianto end up at the end of the story is the same as it had been planned from the start.
Pieces of information gained in series 2 have been used, such as Jack having joined Torchwood in the 1890's, but mostly I've tried to only keep the information used what was known at the end of series one.
(I've lost track of just how many stories I've written, I know that it's over 100 including drabbles, as I made a count at the end of last year
