Basically if you have an Amazon account (for buying things) you can go to the Kindle store (you don't have to own a Kindle either) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FSUDM4?ie=UTF8&tag=blogkindle0e-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B003FSUDM4
You supply them with contact details and if you want to be paid via a bank account where you like the money sent.
You upload your ebook to them (they take a variety of formats), decide on how you're going to split the money made (either you get 35% and you pick the retail price or you get 70% and they pick the price), and then it gets listed in the Amazon Kindle bookstore.
