computer problems
Oct. 25th, 2006 10:00 pmHi out there
I know I haven't posted for a few days my computer, well geriatric laptop, decided to go a bit nuts over the weekend, so with a lot of reinstalling and no a small amount of swearing at it it is working again - well its working as well as it ever does - ie not very.
Biggest computer problem at the moment is that for some reason or other windows media player has decided that the only media it will play music files - so no dvd player at present, so i'll be sorting that out before I get round to doing anything with my fic's.
On a different topic though who saw Torchwood tonight? and if they did did they think wow that is so cool. I'm so going to have to find some fan fic on this, it's way too good not to have any.
Its good to see that the BBC hasn't totally lost its touch - because after watching it's Robin Hood series I was starting to wonder, although Richard Armitage (Guy of Gisbourne) may just mean that I have to continue watching - after all how much worse could it get - please don't answer that one.
Seriously though there are not enough must watch programs on TV at the moment, programs that you just have to see - for me its a lack of good sci-fi/fantasy series.
I remember watching Highlander, the X-files, Buffy, Angel, Star Trek, Firefly and I know all good things have to come to an end but why oh way have we not got any comparable replacements?
