Something odd going on at work
Dec. 19th, 2006 01:21 pmThere is something odd going on at work, it started a coulple of days ago when one of the guys who works here didn't come in. Everybody thought it was odd as it was the works christmas do that day and he was supposed to be going.
Now we've been told that he's suspended and that were not to contact him and that he not to contact us and if he does we're to tell management. They wont tell us why though and it's kinda weirding me out because everybody's acting like nothings happened, its almost like the guy was never here. I like to know whats going on and the fact that I don't just seems odd.
Also on an odd work related, but nicer note is the fact that my supervisor seems to have turned into talkie toaster - he brought in a loaf of bread and has repeatedly been offering to make just about anyone who walks through our office some toast.
Hoping to write some more fic tonight, haven't got as much done as I hoped as I lost my pen - I know lame excuse but I always write everything out on paper first and for some reason I don't like writing with biro's, gel pens etc I always use a cartridge pen. I think I lost it while working on my car - have I ever said how much I hate fuse boxes? Especially stupid ones that you have to lay upsidedown in the pasenger foot well to see the wiring of. On the up side though I now have a fully working car radio.
Have bought a new shiny cartridge pen and now have four or five pages of random drabble (mostly Torchwood) that will hopefully be turned into something readble shortly. Got to see Episode 10 on Sunday and all I can say is wow.
