My local health centre = useless.

How glad am I that the internet exists, because it has been a damn sight more useful than the Dr at the health centre. All she did was weigh me, look confused when I said that despite the fact that it was unplanned I want to keep it, and then told me I'd have to wait 4/5 weeks to be seen by a midwife for any actually health checks and I might have to wait as much as 11 weeks for a first scan. She didn't even do an additional pregnancy test to make sure the 2 home test that I did were accurate.
