(no subject)

I'm back online again, after not having any net for the last couple of days. The laptop decided to fall over in usual crazy style (although fortunately I didn't lose anything this time - last time it did this I lost about 3 months of everything I'd written)

Anyway, after taking out the hard disc, putting it into an external case and doing disc repair and defragment on it via another computer, and then reinstalling a load of stuff, including having to reconnect it back up to the internet, it's working again.

One thing that I did find during the laptop clean up was some old original fiction that I'd started writing (most of it is between 2001-2004) A couple of the bits I might look at doing something with - like getting around to actually finishing them ;) I think the one that I'll probably end up doing something with is the modern fanstasy setting slash fic about a missing persons case which is investigated by a psychic and a werewolf.

Before I do that though I've go a other things to finish, liek my tardis_bigbang. The first 7000 words should soon be ready to send of to be beta'd (well as soon as I find a beta any way)

I also now have a dreamwidth account (thank you to laura47 for the access code :D)

For now my dreamwidth account is going to be a mirror of my LJ, as it's handy to have everything backed up somewhere.

With the tardis_bigbang deadline being on the 16th June I'm now looking for the next challenge to start after that finishes. At the moment I'm thinking of signing up for the second round of kink_bingo as I've got a few ideas of what I might write.
