Stuff and things
Oct. 11th, 2011 10:16 pm1. The council tax department can be both helpful and useless at the same time. Due to a screw up involving the bank cancelling the wrong payment, I now have to pay the remaining installments of council either on the council website or in the payment office as they can't set the direct debit back up if it's failed during the year. Even if it is only once, and even if it's not your fault. Apparently I can have my dd set back up once it's the new tax year - ie April. great.
2. I hate dress shopping - well clothes shopping to be honest (costume shopping is another matter or browsing corsets at a steampunk market like I did at the weekend, those I could lose a day doing those). I need to get one for a friends wedding. So, due to money, I'm ebaying one. None of the sizes seem to mean anything on ebay though. One dress was listed as a 12 (my size,) but when you looked at the measurements it was for a 32 to 34 chest - that is so not a 12 in any shape or form.
3. Is still writing and making art for a variety of Torchwood things. Nothing that I can post at the moment though.
4. Has one or two ideas for a Fades fan fic. Does anybody know of any Fades fic out there on LJ/elsewhere as I've not seen any yet, but might just be looking in the wrong places.
