Instagram photo sell off
Dec. 18th, 2012 02:12 pmI don't know if anybody on my f-list uses Instagram, but I thought I spread the information just in case.
Basically Instagram want to change their terms of service so that they have the right to sell users photos to whoever they want without telling the user who they are selling their photos to - nor does the user get any of the money from the sale of their own photographs.
It's not even a service you can opt out of. If you still have photos on Instagram on 16th Jan 13 when the chanes to the TOS come in that will be considered your agreement that they can do what they like with your pictures.
Instagram say the changes are just so they can share information with their parent company, Facebook. But the wording means they can actually sell your photos to anybody they they, and possibly an personal data held on the site too.

Go ahead and share this if you like as I'm not sure how well known these changes that are coming in are.
