new laptop

silver_sunMy new Asus netbook has arrived, and I've got most of my files transferred across now. Normal fic writing will resume tomorrow and I should have part 4 of Lives are for Living up by tomorrow night at the latest.
Still getting used to the very small keyboard on the netbook - going from a 15" laptop to a 10" netbook makes the screen and everything else on it seem very small.
I have found it has one odd little quirk - the @ and " work in reverse. I have no idea why though, or how you'd change them back.
The only major things still to do with it import my music library and get photoshop to work. I got it to install and thought I'd cracked it, but when I went to open a file it caused it to have an error and stop responding. If I can't get it to go, I guess I've have to look round for a photoshop substitute.
