I don't usually win anything, but... I've actually won a Ipad mini.
Not one of these fake competitions where they tell you've won something and get you to call a pound a minute phoneline. But an actual real one - the Ipad mini arrived yesterday, along with the other prizes (A toy woolley spider soft toy, dvd and sticker book - these are all from the Woolley and Tig show on the CBeebies).
I think I should keep entering competitions on www.netmums.com only take me entering about 3 free competitions a week for four and a half years who knows by the end 2018 I might win something else ;)
So far all I can say about it (the Ipad Mini) is that it's got good battery life and really is usable out of the box - providing you don't want to actually connecting to anything that's not Apple.
Finally found an app and then paid 69p for an upgrade of the app so that I could connect to the shared external hard drive I use at home.
The only other annoying thing I've found is that the onscreen keypad shows as capitals all the time, even when it isn't writing in capitals - it makes putting in passwords that bit more entertaining I suppose.
