From a fangirl and fanfiction standpoint, I totally agree! But let's face it, the Manipulator gets disabled so it can't be used as a plot device and an easy out for the script writers! LOL! Imagine the things Jack could have done in S2 if the thing had worked for time travel and teleportation!
Okay, back to the philosophical discussion............When Jack was a Time Agent he WASN'T immortal. What might the ramifications be of his criss crossing timelines and dying and reviving?
