Leaving fandom for a while

silver_sunI've given it some thought, and for a variety of reasons I'm leaving the fandoms that I'm involved in for while, and in some cases maybe permenently.
My main ones being Torchwood - and I think that pretty much everybody on my flist knows why. Criminal Minds - because if they've done what I think they have then I'm not going back to that one. Spooks code 9, cancelled in all but name and sunk without trace. The other fandoms I've not been as attached to so I'm not going to miss as much. - I'm mainly looking at Being Human, here because I still don't understand why they replaced 2/3 of the cast, and as good as the replacements were, I still prefered the original cast, and wouldn't have watched it at all if Russel Tovey hadn't have been in it.
I'll probably still post occasional, but not with anything related to fandom and I understand if people want to defriend me because I'm posting fanfic for what might be a long time. All the fic that I have written will still remain here on my lj, as I'm not petty enough to delete it all because I'm stepping back from it. Just don't ask me to write more/sequels, because it's not going to happen. It's been fun while it lasted.
I'm going to use this chance to work on some original fic that I've had laying around, in some cases for over ten years. I don't expect anybody to be interested or even really care, such is life.
