Thank you for commenting again :) I'm glad that Jack's grief seems realistically portrayed, I didn't want to go over the top with it, but Jack lost so much in CoE, as his grandson, Ianto, and because he lived at the Hub he lost his home and presumably all his possesions as well, like the box of photos that's seen in Something Borrowed.
I'm pleased that Ruth is ok as an oc, as I know a lot of people tend not to like ocs. Ruth's trying to do what is right now that she's realised just how her employers act.
Yes I did have a baby, five weeks ago today - that's the reason for the big delay between chapters 4 and 5. Next part should be posted at the weekend.
