I'll spoiler cut this just in case people haven't seen/don't want to know about who will have a guest part in Torchwood next series. All the info's in on the main bbc web site and i'm sure a fair few newspapers, so not sure how long people will be unspoilled for. But they wont be spoiler by me - unless they want to be course, but you can say you weren't warned

Martha's going to Torchwood! No idea how or why, just that the bbc have said that it will be for three episodes.

Jack/Martha flirting will almost certainly happen, and Owen will probably try to chat her up.
She'll probably get on with Tosh quiet well, they both have that smart yet a little bit geek thing going for them. Not sure about Gwen, she'll probably be nice to her in the hopes of finding out more about Jack.
The one i'm wondering about how Ianto will take having Martha hanging around, being as she is looks likes Adeola  who he worked with at Torchwood One. (who was also placed by Freema before she got the part of Martha)
I can imagine meeting her might be a bit of a shock, especially if didn't know about Adeola having a cousin that looked a lot like her.

Equally I wonder how Martha will react to meeting Ianto, once she finds out that he was one of the few people to survive the Cybermen/Dalek attack at Canary Wharf,  where her cousin died. Will she want  answers from him about just what happened there? or will she just not know what to say to him?

Either way it could make for some quite interesting scenes, if the script writers bother to think of it that is.

I don't think Martha's going to become a proper member of Torchwood. I think she'll just become involved in some way because of a particularly frightening crisis. It could be that she's set to appear towards the series's final episodes - the climactic episodes if you will.

Even though John had a staring role in the final 3 episodes of Doctor Who, his screen time during The Last of the Time Lords was pretty thin. He was almost a background character. It could be the same for Martha, especially as Eve Myles is meant to be Torchwood's leading lady. It's her show along with John Barrowman.
