Stuff and writing.

Have had the lurgy of doom for the last week, but it's mostly gone now, so hopefully get a chance to do a bit more writing done.

I'm taking part in kink_las have just sent my entry in, not happy with it at all, but it was either send or drop out in the first round - so I sent. I somehow doubt I'll be getting to the second round.

Plans for Christmas now sorted - off to the inlaws for 5 days with no internet access or if anything like usual no free time for myself at all - seriously they expect you to sit there in front of the TV or be playing board games for the entirity of the time you're awake.

Hey, I didn't know you were doing kink_las! Good luck with your entry! :) I just sent my entry in too, and I'm not very happy with it either. Mine is pretty generic porn, although there are a couple lines I like, but I don't have high hopes of making it past this round. Hey, do you know when the stories go up for voting? I must have missed the memo, because IDK.

Congrats on getting through to round 2 of kink-las :) I'm surprised that mine got through - writing it straight into the body of an email while at the last minute did little for it being any good - hopefully next round I'll have a bit more time to write it.

It's the first last author standing I've done for a while, the last one I did was writerinadrawer which was a Torchwood las.

Thanks :) las went okay, got through to round 2 - will post a tidied up version soon - well either today or tomorrow, because after that it's off to the relatives.

5 day without the net is a bit annoying, but it's the lack of any free time to write or even be on my own for a few minutes that's the most wearing. Still it's only once a year, and I get the feeling that a lot of it will be spent trying to stop Alexander climbing the christmas tree or similar.
