A/N: I know that somebody gave me the drabble prompt Ianto/Owen and collars some time ago, but I really can't remember who it was. So if you're reading this sorry it took me so long to write it.
“You don't have to wear it in public,” Ianto says, running a finger along the slim leather collar he has fastened around Owen's neck. “Not if you aren't ready.”
It's the sense of belonging, of reassurance that somebody cares enough about him that they would want this responsibility that means so much to Owen.
He's not always sure what Ianto gets out of it, but the look pride and approval in his eyes leaves Owen in no doubt that Ianto is happy with their arrangement.
Looking at their reflection in their bedroom mirror, Owen smiles. “I'm ready.”
