Fan fic meme - day 3.

silver_sun3 – For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favourite characters to write?
For Highlander, Due South and Stargate: Universe I can’t really pick two as I’ve not written enough to say. For Highlander I would have to say Methos and for Due South Fraser. The only SGU fic was a crossover drabble, and was from the POV of Captain Ryan who’s from Primeval, although I think if I were to write something that was only SGU (not terribly likely) it would probably be with Dr Rush as the main character.
For Spooks: Code 9 it would have to Charlie and Rob. Charlie, who’s great with facts and figures, but not quite so good with people, who’s given command of field office nineteen much too young. And Rob, a cynical and rather sarcastic doctor from London, who pretty much lost everything when it a massive nuclear bomb went off there (not a spoiler for the series as it’s an event that has happened pre-series) Although some of the things that were lost you get the impression he wants to stay hidden.
Doctor Who. I would have to say Jack, but after that I’m not sure. It’s probably a tie between the Doctor (9th or 10th) and Martha.
Torchwood: Can’t I just say all of them? If not, it has to be Jack, Ianto, Owen and Andy. It’s not that I don’t like Tosh or Gwen, I just find them harder to write, especially Gwen, because I can never predict what she’d be likely to do or say.
Primeval: Again it’s hard to pick, but I suppose I’d have to go with Captain Becker, Cutter, Lester and Stephen. Although Helen, especially in S1 and S2, when she was more of a 3D character rather than just the ‘I’m baddy, look at how bad I am’ that we got in S3, would be interesting to write.
