Random stuff

The weather todays sucks it's either raining or really windy or both and I've spent most of it outside and covered in engine grease in an attempt to fit new spark plugs - now the car wont start at all. I don't think that I've managed to tighten the new plugs enough but there's not enough space to fit the socket spanner in the gap so I'm going to have to go buy a different one.
When I'm going to find time to do that I don't know as I have to go back to work tomorrow and find out what chaos was caused by me being away for a few days - hopefully its' not more gunked up machines and a backlog of filing that they have shoved into the bottom of one of the safes in the hope that it will miraculuously file itself - which seems to be their normal approach to tidying up.
That said tomorrow's friday so it's nearly the weekend and I am sure that I can put up with them for a day.
Hope the weather is better than this by the weekend as I really hate doing bill drill and line fighting in the rain, not least does every thing end up rusty or soaking wet.
Will try to post a pic of me in my fighting kit for medieval when I can find a reasonable one - share the ridiculousness of me running around a field or castle in an ankle length dress armed with a seven foot spear.
Right off to cook tea now as I just realised that I forgot lunch because of working on car - unless chocolate counts as lunch

                                  -  My poems - yes these have been around for a while, ten years in some cases but they need reposting with hte old webpage gone.
Fanfic section - Just a back up copy of a Torchwood fic called Control that I posted on torchwoodcoffee  back in November.  Hopefully there will be another TW fic joining it as soon as I can get an ending I am happy with for one that I'm trying to finish that is set directly after Contrycide (Ep6).  It's a bit annoying really as most of the fic was written in an evening, then the plot bunnies ran away and i'm been trying to catch back up with them ever since.
Will hopefully have that fic up as of this weekend - barring real life getting in the way.
See I can still post without it turning into a random rant about car mechanic's (that is, the mechanics of my car, rather than me having some thing against people who work at garages)
