Food for thought

Is it just a Yorkhire thing to eat Christmas cake (not iced/marzipaned)with cheese? Only it's a lot nicer than it sounds.

Yet another culinary strangeness to take home to my family next week, yes it's time for the twice annual visit again, yay for seven hour drives.

Last time it was pork scratchings, which produced the responses of:

Mother with sligthly amused/horrifed expression: You've gone all northern.
Me, still eating pork scrathings: err what.

Yeah its not much of a come back is it. Still, confusing the family is always entertaining and usually surprisingly easy.
