I owe loads of replies for comments, posts etc and I really will try to get back to you all.

This is a brief what's going on kind of thing. I posted a couple of weeks ago to day my husband had had a couple of seizure kind of things (still not sure what to call them as doctors have been particularly unhelpful - a week to get an appointment, where they didn't seem to want to believe him that they'd happened - they actually asked him if he was sure it wasn't just a bad dream. Then another 5 days to get a blood test - which we'll get the result of in the new year because they obviously don't see it as being that urgent.)

Anyway, last night he had another one. Little one had just wandered round into our room, because he'd kicked his duvet off and was cold, and had just climbed onto the bed when it happened.

I picked up Alex, and just had to hold onto him, so he didn't climb back on the bed. Seemed to go on for so long, but probably only 10 - 15 seconds or so.

Alex seemed oblivious to what was going on, in the way a half asleep two years olds can be, and I'm glad he was.

Husband is okay - but he let on this time that he's fully conscious of what is going on while it happens - I can't even begin to think how scary that must be.

Him and little one fell asleep again soon after, but I couldn't, and I feel like I've been shaking ever since - and it happened at 4 in this morning.

He couldn't get another appointment, and he says he'll leave it until after Christmas.
as we're going away over Christmas to his relatives in Scotland, so I won't be online at all from about Wednesday this week to Monday next week.

So this is what is going on. I know it seems stupid but I'll still be posting fic, as really need the distraction of writing right now.
