Date: 2013-05-24 01:12 pm (UTC)1. This was the first long Torchwood fic I wrote and as is the longest story in any fandom that I've written, at just under 39k. It is also the one that has taken me the longest to write as it was written and posted over the course of 4 years.
2. I had a lot of fun writing the supporting characters in this one, particularly Jubel and Grell. They ended up taking on far more of a life of their own than I had imagined they would when I first started writing the story.
3. The work round for the whole does Jack sleep or not. Basically he doesn't physically need to sleep, but mentally the effects of sleep deprivation still kick in if he doesn't do it occasionally. It's an idea that I've carried over into a lot of my other fics since.
