Writing and stuff.

silver_sunI'm still writing although I've not posted much recently.
The Being Human Torchwood crossover fic is still growing.
I was thinking of trying to do a bit of art for it and was looking for some pictures of PC not in police uniform and saw some of the "Greatest Show in the Galaxy convention last year. I'd forgotten just how tall Tom Price who plays Andy is - although now I think about it I remember somebody posting about one of the conventions saying he was about 6ft 4.

Or if you search on google 'tom price kai owen convention' under images, you'll see what I mean. Kai Owen isn't short, but Tom is quite a bit taller. The picture of them standing in front of a TARDIS is good.
I think they must have got Tom to stand in a hole or something for all his scenes on Torchwood, because other wise he would have been so much taller that Gwen, as Eve Myles is about 5ft 7 or so.
So for writing the PC Andy/Tom McNair fic I've actually got to think about height. As Michael Socha (who plays Tom McNair) is only about 5-7 or 5-8 depending on what site you look at, so there's an 8 to 9 inch height difference. It's not going to be a big thing in the fic, more just an acknowledgement that if they are standing facing each other Tom is more going to be staring at Andy's chin than into his eyes.
