silver_sunEDIT: Well I still have broadband. Old regular broadband. Because the engineer didn't turn up either. It will be tomorrow before I can find out why, and at least 10 days before we can get another appointment for an engineer to come out.
At least we keep the old connection in the meantime. And hopefully the router will appear in the post sooner rather than later.
Rather disappointed with TalkTalk as we've been with them years without ever having had this sort of cock-up.

The internet connection that I use at home is being upgraded to fibre broadband today. Which is good. What isn't is the new DSL modem hasn't arrived yet and the old modem/router won't work with the new fibre connection.
So if I'm offline for a while that's why. I'm still planning on posting part 3 of Lives are for Living on Sunday - even if I have to take my laptop to Starbucks/McDonalds etc to do it.
It's a real nuiscense as I'm selling on Ebay at the moment and will have to rely on just checking it during lunch break at work until the new modem arrives. Which will hopefully be soon as it was ordered nearly two weeks ago.
