Nanowrimo - still don't know what to do.

So Nanowrimo starts in about seven hours and I still have absolutely no idea what I am going to do.

I really like to go to one of the local meet ups (well local if you call travelling by bus for over an hour local), and it wouldn't feel right going if I wasn't properly taking part.

So by choices are Nano rebel - which would be editing my campnano 2012 story.

or take part properly and write a new story.

My choices for that is either writing the psychic and werewolf fic that's get in Bradford that I have a beginning and a middle for but no idea for an end or the m/m paranormal romance thing that I've only got an outline for that is so vague I could write it on the back of a bus ticket, but does actually have an end.

So is anybody else taking part? What would you go with and why?

whatever you choose to do - whether it be finishing a project previously started, or a new story, I admire you for trying! personally, I'm rubbish at writing to deadlines, the restricted time throws me totally and I can't put fingertips to keyboard...

If given the choice of finding an ending for a fic mostly fleshed out, or fleshing out a fic that has an ending in sight, I'd go for the latter - having an ending in mind can provide the focus required ...

I just wish I had time to write at all ... other than A level Biology papers that is ... still working on sneaking in a question on pterodactyls ...

I've decided to go for editing/finishing the old story as it means I'll have time to continue writing the giant Torchwood/Being Human fic I'm still posting.

If you don't come along, I will be greatly sad. Rebels are allowed, and we need more m/m paranormal romance in the area, but then we also need more stories set in Bradford. In short, I am not helpful, except in organising pub crawls.

I'm probably doing a Jack/Ianto AU with the serial numbers preemptively filed off, but I might do a Jack/Ianto AU with the serial numbers preemptively filed off. I'm really, really original *sighs*.

I've decided to be a rebel as I've got other stuff I'm writing/posting and I don't want to put that on hold over November. For the Bradford based one I really need an end for the story before I start writing, even a vague idea of one. The paranormal m/m is set near to Bradford as well, mostly around Rombalds Moor (because I want to use the 12 Apostles stone circle that's there in it - unless I use it in the Bradford werewolf one) between Bingley and Ilkley.

I should be there on Sunday (buses and kid permitting), I don't know if I'll be able to make all the Sundays, but I'm going to try for at least two of them.

I've signed up again... writing an 'original' - and I mean original:
we have got Eros and Apollo intervening in modern human lives... two couples switching partners, MM BDSM, poly (MMF) - oh, and a serial killer

I guess I won't have any readers, but at least I'm writing again.

Your story sounds interesting :) I've decided that I'm going to work on editing/finishing by campnano story from last year, which is historical type setting military fantasy with airships, intrigue, canons and m/m side plot.

I can't help you with your dilema, but I have decided not to do it myself, even though I have a new story I'd like to work on. I'm not doing it because I just don't need that level of stress added to my life.
I am hoping to feed off everyone elses' energy though as I keep fighting through the rewrites of what started as a NaNo novel in 2009! Yep, time this sucker got finished.

Good luck if you do it and same to everyone else. And, you know, it's fine if you don't.
