I've been trying to make one post a week, but work is too busy at the moment - it's end/start of tax year and it's always a bit hectic on the phone. Downside this year is that all the correspondence produced from it is going out either side of the Easter weekend - so basically none of us can Easter off this year :( We'll get the Good Friday, the weekend and the Bank holiday, but that's it.

Luckily F is at home with A who'll be on school holidays, otherwise it would be awkward. For anyone following me since my Torchwood fandom days, A is my son who I was expecting when the whole fandom kinda imploded following Children of Earth. He'll be 13 this September, and somehow he is already slightly taller than me - and I'm 5'7"/171cm.

I want to be able to take off some of the time built up at work off - I've still not used up all my leave from last year, and they owe we a week of leave as time in lieu (we only get to build up extra leave - we don't get overtime pay or any extra pay - salary is fixed no matter how many hours we work extra).

There was no WIP Wednesday post this week as the SongXiao big bang fic is complete. It's got a posting date now of 22nd April. So I now need to think of a title for it.

I decided in the end not to sign up for the Journey's big bang. I've just done two big bangs back to back, and with a combined word total of 120k between them in less than 10 months. So I think working on a few smaller pieces for a while before launching back in to fixed timescale long fic.

Hee! Just the other day I found my own scientific calculator from school, which I'm pretty sure I got in 1989. I thought for sure the solar cell would have given up the ghost by now, but nope! Still works like a charm.
