Posting fic

While AO3 is temporary down I’ve decided it’s probably about I actually got around to posting my fic directly into Dreamwidth as well - back how I used to do in the LJ days.

So there will be a copy here and a copy on AO3

So there will probably be a quite a bit of posting on here over the next day or two.

For older fics with a lot of parts I will back date the parts and just make one summary post for that fic with todays date - which should mean it doesn’t clog up people’s reading pages.

No one wants all 21 parts of Finding Our Own Ways Forward filling an entire reading page.


If there is anything of mine that’s in AO3 and not here yet, and you wish it was let me know in the comments and I’ll make that one of the first one to be added over here.

This is a good idea! I keep meaning to mirror all of mine, and while some of it is already here, I've been slacking off on it recently.

I’ve only imported a couple of multi-part stories as yet. It’s not too bad to bring in the single part ones.

Typing out the basic html for the read more cuts etc comes back quick though.

It’s doing the links to the next parts in the multi-part ones that takes the time.

The 21 part xicheng big bang one is going to be fun. I might pre do all the parts as a text file so I can copy paste to post the I’ll only have to go in to edit for the links.
But that going to have to wait until the weekend - as it’ll probably take a couple of hours to do it all.

oooh pre-writing the html for the headers/cuts is a GREAT IDEA. i need to do that, it will def speed things up.
