silver_sunHi everybody, yes I am still here.
I know no posts for a month or so, did you miss me?
So what have I been doing?
Well mainly mourning the lost of my poor little car, as the man at the garage said that there was no more repairs that could be done to it, so off it goes to that little bit of scrapyard heaven reserved for old rover metro's.
Seriously though I now have no car and am not too sure as to when I can afford a replacement, although the daily check of Ebay may just yet pay off.
I would like to say that i've manage to get a load of my fiction finished in the last month but all i've done it started a load more - and ventured into the hitherto unchated realms of trying to write my own fan fic rather than just reading everybody elses - Torchwood provide too many opportunities for me not to at least try.
However my forays in to fanfic have had to take a bit of a backseat due to the %*@! that is work. It's not that I totally object to having to train my own supervisor (although the fact that he got the job when I had also applied for it still get me a bit peeved (Understatement alert!!)) It is the fact that he disappears off when ever he feels like it knowing that I will keep the office running, because as the longest serving member of staff (two and a half years,yes staff turnover here is chronic) i'm supposed to - even though it's not in my job description and I never get any overtime or acting up pay for it - work sucks.
I should get another job, one that's something like interesting. But I only ever get as far as looking, because I'd hate to leave the department that i'm in knowing that it would them under staffed and under skilled. Even my friends have told me i'm too nice about this, but it just doesn't seem right to leave people in the lurch just because you find you job boring.
Sorry for being a moaning minnie today, I'm off to browse round the internet now and I will try to get some fan fic posted - promise.
