rain, cars, banks argh!!
Dec. 6th, 2006 04:11 pmStill having car problems, not only is the radio still not going now the back wiper is also not working.
Took a friends advice to clean the engine today - big mistake. I did just what he said, spay the engine with gunk, wait ten minutes and jet wash off - would the car start afterwards - would it heck as like.
So I spent the best part of an hour in the rain stuck at the jet wash of a Tescos waiting for the AA to turn up. Fortunately they managed to get it started - damp in the engine and distributor - might need to take it to a garage to get it dried out. Thank you so much S for your great car cleaning advise, i'll remember not to take next time.
I cannot afford to take it to a garage at the moment anyway as the banks not over joyed at increasing my overdraft again and say they this is the last increase that I'm going to get for at least six months. Just hope F can keep his job this time - we both cannot live off what I earn - I've told him like a million times but is goes in one ear and streight out the other - husbands who'd have them - love him really though - just p***es me off some time how I have to sort out everything important and deal with all the crap from just about everybody - and he still expects me to make his sandwichs, cook his tea and iron his shirts.
Then again i'm not always the easiest person to live with, medieval clothes, weapons and armour stewn about the house, disappearing off for most weekends over the summer to random parts the country to 'hit people with sticks' as F calls it - it is generally refered to as medieval reenactment by other less sarcastic people.
I complain he makes me sort everything out but if he did it I would be worrying that he was doing it all wrong and end up doing it anyway and I think he knows that.
Don't mean to be all grr argh at the world - but somedays thats how it seem to be at me.
Off to try to get some more writing done - might post some fic later if I manage to finish what I'm writing before I have to go out and be part of the real world for an evening.
