Back from inlaws

Back from F's parents - driving from Scotland to Yorkshire in the fog, without a break is not recomended.
That said the car survived - I had wondered. But it only stalled twice and that was before I got out onto the main roads. I guess it just doesn't like starting cold. hmm northern England in the winter - may have picked the wrong type of car there, oh well.

Christmas was good though, seeing the folks. Prezzies were good too as I got an Ipod nano, Cd's and a pattern book for medieval costume. Just have to afford the material now - I know I dont really don't need another kirtle for events, but we're doing solo events next year and it seems like the perfect excuse for a new posh over gown. 
Off to upload music to Ipod and search ebay for material.  Well I have to have listen to on bus on way to work tomorrow - it so sucks to have to be back at work when everybody else is still on holiday.
