Ok strange day today, first I confused the people at work, myself as well, to be honest. 
We'd got a call about a certificate that hadn't arrived back in the post,(it eventually turned out that it had arrived back, just that the person hadn't  bother to check their post yet.
Anyway, the supervisor asks me if I remember anything about a certificate for a K Denton, from last week, I say no, because we get a couple of hundred a week come in, but I'll check. 
So I  type in Kathleen Denton not really thinking about what i'm doing, and then I call over to him, just to make sure i've got the right record, 'it's Mrs Kathleen Denton, right?'
He looks confused, 'yes, how did you know that?'
Good question, I have absolutely no idea how I know, and after thinking about it for a while I still have no idea. Then again this sort of thing happens so often to me it's become kind of usual.

I get home and i'm not in for more than five minutes before someone's ringing the door bell, it turns out to be one of those annoying gas/electric salespeople who say they aren't selling anything, then sign you up to a new supplier while you aren't looking.
I open the door and the guy, teenager? (or maybe i'm just getting old) stares at me for a moment and then asks if he can speak to my parents about the electric. I mean ??? do I look abnormally young or something? 
Probably should have let him think it and he might have gone away, but I rather stupidly told him the truth, that it the house and it gas/electric were mine and my husbands,  I'm still not sure he believe me.

On the good news Fin got the job, starts on monday. I mean talk about quick, interviewed on the tuesday, they called him back like an hour later and said he was to start as soon as he could.

Might not be updating/doing anything internet related for about a week, as i'm driving down to my mum's, and unless I can get the old connection at her house going i'll be internet free for a week, not a good though as there is very little to do around where my mum live, especially if the weather gets bad.  Hope it doesn's as i'm still driving without a rear wiper, as I cannot find one anywhere, not even ebay
