Ante-natal class or lack of.

I don't think I'm meant to get to my ante-natal classes.

Last Tuesday I spent an interesting 45 minutes on a mostly stationary train (journey should've taken 12 minutes) which made me so late getting into Halifax that it wasn't worth getting the bus over to the hospital because by the time that I got there the class would have been finishing.

This week I get an earlier train, get there at 6.50pm for 7pm. And wait. and wait. At 7.25 and after speaking to a nurse who, although she was trying to be helpful, clearly didn't know what was going, gave up and came home.

So out of four classes I have so far attended none. Question is next week do I even bother? or do I hope it's third time lucky and I actually get there on time and class happens.

Baby is due in six weeks. (Only three more weeks of work) I really don't have time to find another set of courses being as even the short ones are spread out over four weeks. That said women have been having babies without the benefit of these classes for millenia, and I suppose that it doesn't make much difference in the end. It's just annoying that I've spent an extra £10 on travel this month for absolutely no benefit.

Going to write fic now. I have a lot of fic to write and most of it with deadlines.

Roundsofkink - fic one 2/3 done (Ianto/Jack), fic2 1/3 done. (Jack/Ianto/Andy)
Secrets and Hope 3/8 chapters done. The CoE fic-it fic.

At least I've got until sept/oct for the two bigbang fics.

*hugs*, its probably worth trying to find another course if you can but ultimately it is not essential. Hopefully it'll all go to plan...
