silver_sunOnce you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose a few people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.
1. The first story I wrote (original fiction) was when I was 12, and it was probably the most depressing thing I’ve ever written – everybody dies in it.
2. I have the top of my right ear pierced – my one wild thing from freshers week at uni.
3. I can’t swim – or rather I don’t float – baffled the swimming instructor.
4. Making myself take swimming lessons was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done – because two years before I nearly drown.
5. I was 25 before I took my driving test – and I passed first time.
6. I only started formal education when I was 17.
7. I find it very hard to trust people, and there is nobody I trust absolutely, but I wish I were able to.
8. Going hiking alone with no plan of where I’m going and no time frame to complete the hike is something that I love doing.
9. I have never kissed anybody apart from my husband.
10. I used to dye my hair ginger back in college.
11. I’ve been told by most of my friends that I don’t think/act like a woman – and I still don’t know what that means.
12. I find it hard to ask for help with anything, I feel like I’m letting people down if I do.
13. I miss fighting at reeactment events, but my knees/hips couldn’t manage the training – archaeology wrecks your joints faster than I’d thought.
14. The first album that I bought was Bon Jovi – Crossroad.
15. I’ve never been to a concert.
16. I really don’t feel like I’m a 30 year old wife and mother.
17. I’m allergic to cats – which makes visiting my family difficult as they have 2 of them.
18. My childhood was weird, but it was only after I left home that I realised it.
19. I am reasonably good at cooking.
20. My friends/family think that I’m a lot more innocent/naïve than I am, and I say nothing to change that opinion.
21. I almost never wear make up or perfume, and live in jeans/combats and t-shirts.
22. I can’t see magic eye pictures
23. I once chased a person who’d stolen a friend’s hat down a busy street in York and caught them and got the hat back.
24. I feel guilty that I sometimes regret making some of the personal/relationship choices that I have.
25. When I caught chicken pox I thought it was insect bites and kept on working for a few days until my dig supervisor sent me home.
