OMG! Ok now i've got that out of the way I think my next comment should be wibble, wibble-wiblble and double wibble.

Wonder what Jack will say if he ever finds out that the Doctor had made three more 'people' immortal and left them trapped in unpleasant places.

Maybe though, if the Doctor can give immortality he can take it back or alter it. For Jack's sake I hope he does.

The family of blood were wrong in what they were doing, but hell, they do not deserve an eternity of punishment for it. Not being thrown in to a sun to die over and over again, not to be trapped forever looking out on a world that they can't be a part of, be bound in chains for the rest of time.

They derserved punishment, maybe they deserved death, but they didn't deserve what he did to them. The Doctor has shown more compassion to Dalek and Cybermen than he did to them. All he had to do was imprison them for a couple of months and they would have died as they were meant to, and that would have been enough.

I can understand the Doctor's anger at having to sacrifice his chance at a normal mortal life. But he could have still had it if he'd wanted too, they didn't take that way from him, he could have taken Martha home to her family, returned to Joan, made himself mortal again. He was the one that chose not to, him and nobody else.

All in all though that was a brilliant episode. Not hide behind the sofa scary maybe, but disturbing, definately disturbing.
